There is absolutely no one on this earth who is as compassionate, loving, and merciful as God is. Even the most compassionate person you know pales in comparison to God. Psalm 113 speaks of God’s compassion and mercy. “Who can be compared to the Lord our God who is enthroned on high. He stoops to look down on heaven and on earth. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, even the princes of his own people!” (Psalm 113:5-8) In God’s eyes, a person’s value has nothing to do with wealth, appearances, what they have done, or even a number. Unlike the world, God sees value in everyone. Think about the answer to this question today, How do you respond to people that society has treated as less valuable?
